We will send you a brochure with ALL the information you need to confirm the details of your dream pop-up picnic. Pay your deposit, mark your calendar, and share the news with your guests.
Step 3: Celebrate in Style!
Arrive on the day of your picnic, sit back, and enjoy the moment! Oh, and remember to take lots of pictures!

You can choose one of our pre-styled collections or work with us to create something

Frequently Asked Questions
We recommend booking as far in advance of your desired picnic date as possible. Please note, we currently only set up picnics Friday – Sunday and they book up quickly.
The cost includes individual charcuterie boards and boxed water for each person. You may bring your own food/beverages, or let us know what you have in mind, and we can assist with food/beverage add-on options
We currently service within a 20-mile radius of our home base in Spotsylvania, Co. Let us know, if you want a picnic outside of this area, and we may be able to accommodate with an additional travel fee for up 30 miles.
We can’t refund your booking, but in case of rain we’d be happy to reschedule your pop-up picnic to another date or setup in an indoor location.
We don’t provide alcohol for any of our picnic experiences. However, we may be able to recommend a vendor for a wine tasting experience at a private location. Whether it’s a public or private space, rules may apply. Either way, we will provide drinkware to accommodate your plans.
Sure! We would love to be part of your special day. We have a preferred photographer, or you are welcome to arrange your own. Please contact us at thealfrescocollections@gmail for more information.

- We use paper napkins (instead of linen.) Single-use utensils will be used instead of flatware. Hand Sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will be provided with the picnic.
- Items in contact with food or drinks will be washed and disinfected after each picnic.
- All tables, flower containers, and other decorations will be disinfected after each picnic.
- Rugs, blankets, and pillows will be washed and disinfected after each picnic.
- We will practice social-distancing efforts when setting picnics up in public (even if it’s not officially mandated.)
- The Al Fresco Collections team will wear face masks when setting up and delivering picnics.

Meet Shondella
Anyone who knows me, knows that I’ve always loved decorating and finding creative ways to bring people together. With Al Fresco Collections I’m able to do both!
My inspiration came from the time my husband surprised me for our anniversary on June 1, 2020, during the onset of a difficult time due the COVID-19 pandemic. We went to pick up our take-out dinner and headed home. However, he made an unexpected turn into a park and popped up our picnic! Little did I know, he had secretly packed in the trunk a portable table, some lawn chairs, a towel for the tablecloth, an artificial flower, and a plastic cup for a vase.
I was elated that he was so thoughtful and was able to make our celebration unforgettable during the quarantine. When my daughter approached me in March 2021 with the idea of pop-up picnics as a business, I couldn’t help but remember how special and loved I felt when my husband created one for me. I was all in to offer the same extraordinary feeling to others!
When I’m not helping bring your dream picnic to life, I love spending time with my family & friends, traveling and exercising. Early morning walks with my fur baby Rusty, coffee, chocolate cake, and some spiritual music are a few of my favorite things.
